Ep 80: LEITNERRRRRRRRRRRRR. He used the Buried book to trap the creature, and to control the tunnels. Jon’s got keen eyes yeah I bet he does. NotSasha is the one who left the arrows. He has another book called “A Disappearance” that allows him to hide from the Eye. Gerard found Leitner one time and beat the shit out of him jvjsjfjsjfj. He sacrificed so many assistants to learn about the books..

Some of the books react badly to each other (the girls are fightingggg), but Smirke’s thing about balance helped him figure out how to safely store them. “Depending on the needs of the inmates” lmao? Nine Hundred And Seventy-Eight books??!?!! Yes some were mundane but still??? Guess that answers my question, there’s definitely multiple books per entity. Maybe some of them are even “collaborations?” People kept showing up asking about his collection. “Strangers.” Oh god all his assistants died in such horrible ways.

Gertrude was helping Leitner locate more books. She had three assistants, who each met terrible ends. Surely this means nothing. Oh the Key of Solomon was associated with multiple entities!! Finally some straightforward talk about entities and manifestations. Leitner says Elias probably killed Gertrude because he figured out she and Leitner were going to destroy the Archives OOOOOHH. Jon realizes the Institute belongs to the Eye aaaAAA!! “His place of power” yeahhhh Elias is an agent of the Eye. Jon belongs to it too. Jon leaves to smoke, and Leitner muses that (presumably) Gertrude wouldn’t have liked him, doesn’t have the stomach for it.

Oh god Elias is here. Asks if Leitner told Jon about Gertrude, who says he didn’t. (Was there more, or is he just lying rn?) Elias found him bc Jon doesn’t know to protect himself like Gertrude did. Stopping The Stranger, The Unknowing? Jon needs to fly the nest?? Aaaand there goes Leitner. Jon finds him.

Oh how did these two idiots get out of the hellway djjsjfjsjjf. “Any sign of the woman?” HELEN OH NO. Martin wanted to try to help her. Martin and Tim find Jon, with Leitner’s body I think. They think he killed him. Oh boy.

Some the good ones are– CLAIRE'S DESIGN AND VOICEEEEEE I LOVE HER SO MUCHHHHH ALSO BELLROC'S DESIGN IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES FROM THE WHOLE SERIES (only second to Troll Jim's). I love bi Steve fangirling over Lancelot and crying more over Eli than Aja kansksns. I ADORE DEYA SO MUCHHHHH, HER DYNAMIC WITH JIM IS SO CUTE (and I hate myself for kinda shiping them I'm so sorry)
